This is a bench I made quickly to hold DVD’s and for our dogs to sit on and sun tan in the window. I still need to finish the shelves and make 2 doors for the end openings. It’s is made of 3/4” plywood so that people can sit on it without it collapsing. Not my best work, but not bad for assembling in 2 days.

Nice stand Fladdy! Thanks for posting! I was contemplating making a similar TV stand for the kid’s game room.

Looks like pine plywood. Just a couple of questions. What was yours trimmed with and what was it stained with?

It’s Oak plywood from Menards. Not great quality or high grade appearance, I should say. The trim and face frame are oak as well. I stained it with a dark walnut Miniwax stain. I actually got my wife to help stain a good portion of it as well. Then I sprayed 3 coats of lacquer. I wanted to finish it fast so I used lacquer and I’m still getting use to my spray gun.

Thanks for the comments. Super easy to make.
