This is a headboard built for a costumer. The ends have a radius to them which was alot of fun to figure out how to do well. The finish is a bit dark for my taste, but its what she wanted. That is until she saw it. So now it’s being refinished. I consider this the final product, and the refinish a completely new project.

Oh do tell on how you managed to do the radius so well. Really an intersting look, both old by incorperating the radius and new with its styling

The radius was done by kerfing the inside of a sheet of plywood and bending them over a plywood template. After the closed kerfs were dry, i scraped the facets smooth with a spoke shave and applied a veneer.
