Hello! This is my first post so I thought I’d start with some of my work from a few months back. This box is made from a scrap Juniper (a 40 foot tall weed here in central Oregon) provided by a friend. It is one of a series I call the Pillow Series for its soft, plump shape. I’d like to take credit for the idea but I must admit to being influenced by a keepsake box by John M. Durum displayed in a book titles “400 Wood Boxes.”

Great box, love the way the lix sits in the recess
