Great idea David. Simple quick and effective.
Do you think you could maybe reduce the number of cam clamps to 2 instead of 4 if you glued some rubber on the edges ? (I was thinking bicycle air chambers)
I’ll have to try these (and bore a few new holes on my benchtop)

Great idea! Surprising how well the cams held snug to the work piece like that. I’m gonna have to make me some a them. Thanks for sharing!

Yes if you are going to use 2 you will need rubber, leather or sand paper on the edges. Inter-tubes are a great idea.

The will loosen if any pressure is applied towards you. But are very strong with forward pressure.
