I made a custom size frame for a band’s screen print I bought at their concert (Cloud Cult).
Made it out of Walnut and Maple. Glued the two together, I don’t do veneers. Splined the corners on the table saw.
Still looking for the best way to glue 45s. Every clamp I have used is not effective. Any recommendations are welcome. Please let me know what you do.

Nice and simple. I like. As for clamping miters, a rope clamp that goes around the entire frame would work. There is also using extra pieces of wood hot glued in to place perpendicular to the miterprovide clamping space. Good luck. thanks for sharing.

Great Frame! I use a simple box clamp or band clamp and I get great results if my 45’s are perfect. However, you have to do the extra dressing and designs on the edge after the glueing is done, otherwise the clamps will not stay in place. Hope I helped!
