I just couldn’t resist trying. It was an extreme exercise in Patience and Precision. The glue up was loads of fun…and incredibly nerve wracking! Any gaps would have rendered a pricey cutting board into a heavy serving tray. But, I managed to prevail and serve up two beautiful boards that are now making two lucky moms very happy after this past Mother’s Day. -- Dominic | |||||||

Nice job very clean looking. Boards can be alot fo work but so nice when they’re done right.

The dimensions: 19” x 12” x 2”
The woods: Black Walnut, Rock Maple and Cherry
The Finish: Mineral Oil and Beeswax
Ensuring the grain was continuous for each weaved strip was the most rewarding part to see come together.
