This was a fun little project for my sisters new house, an oak slice, routered, then finished up with a dremel. I applied 3 coats of Danish oil and 3 coats of clear varnish. She was very impressed with the turnout, as was i…!

Wow! What did that tree look like? The heart seems to be way off to one side. Seems like you could’ve got a really wide quartersawn and cathedral cut board out of that.

unfortunately i dont know, this was a slice from a log down the log yard. lovely piece of oak tho, i agree!
