Tree-disc stool

As a child I got a Robinia (Robinia pseudoacacia) tree-disc. This then got a couple of wooden legs bolted underneath and finished was my first “furniture” (picture 4). This stool then served several years as a stand for flowers and had become ugly (picture 5) and then gather dust in the basement at some point.
Now I head the idea to build a new base build from oak (picture 5) and work up the plate. The result I show you here now (picture 1 – 3).

Very nice, I love live edged furn, a definate improvment from its old life as a plant stand.

Wow, you just gave me an idea! The new legs make a huge difference! I have a bunch of big, but short pine logs from a couple of downed trees. I see some portable outdoor seating in my future!
