I bought a new Kreg pocket hole drilling fixture…......and needed a project to try it out.
I bought a scroll saw around December of 2011 and needed a place to store blades and pieces being worked. I had also ran out of storage space in my workshop. I designed a small workbench that includes storage shelves and pegboard to hand the scroll saw blades. It is made of all 1×4 pine except for the pegboard and some 3/16”luan as a shelf backer piece.
Over-all, I was impressed with the Kreg fixture. You can made a table top or frame, then continue assembly of the piece immediately versus waiting overnight for glue to dry.
You can see details of how I built it using the Kreg fixture on my web site.
I also put the Google Sketchup 3D model out on the Sketchup warehouse.
