Project Information

Found a good deal on a chunk of figured maple and made this out of it. All from the same board so it matches well.

One more done, now what? Maybe, probably more. I need to get some wood to make more of the bald eagle canes. I like those lots too…...........

those are some beautiful canes .i looked at your other ones you make some of the best ive seen.do you have to hand carve em

Thanks Eddie.

Yes, all hand worked, though I don't carve them with a knife. I use a rotary tool mostly, but these falcon canes I use files and sandpaper mostly.

Nice cane Jack. Beautiful grain this piece. Some one that came into the Gallery asked me if I carved canes? I told them I wouldn't know where to start. Then I told them if they wanted to see some Beautiful canes to look you up!!!!!

Nicely done Jack. Looks like a comfortable fit to the user's hand, and that's really important. Keep them coming.
