This is a small Amplifier for a cigar box guitar which I”m still working on and then will learning how to play. The cabinet is made of figured Maple and Makore. This Makore has a great flame or cloud appearance to it. Thanks to Dusty56 for a great wood source (Forest Product in Greenfield Mass). The box is jointed by fingerjoint and has a sliding back. Sanded down to 320 and finished with 4 coats of General Arm R Seal. Thanks for looking Will

That is a nice project. I like the design with the contracting wood and the makore in the front with the two holes. It looks cool. Good luck on learning to play the guitar

Great use of the two wood species,Will : )
You should send the folks at Forest Products in Greenfield Massachusetts a few pictures of your project with their wood involved. I know Sue will enjoy it : )
Keep up the great work !
