We have a pretty sparse house in terms of knick knacks and crap you have to clean around. It’s pretty simple and utilitarian. Still, I have a couple of things I like to have out, but I don’t want to have to dust them, etc. I found this piece of glass in the trash and made a simple display case. The front door in hinged to open and change around the contents. It’s made of red oak with walnut. My first time doing dovetail splines. And it matches the nightstands I made. It nice to slowly create a room where all the furniture etc matches.

Holy S*! Josh, that’s wicked! I’ve been wanting to so a project that incorporates glass so this is great to see. Thank you for sharing; it looks really nice.
