The dresser is made from solid cherry and walnut. I was inspired by a jewlery box made by Aurora that can be found HERE
I used a PC dovetail jig to make the drawers. This was my first time. All I can say is it took about 50 test cuts before I got it set up right, but after that it was smooth sailing… The finish is Boiled Linseed Oil and wipe on poly.
Any and all comments welcome!

That looks very nice; I like those woods together. I would like to make a similar one some day when I have the time…

Great work Tony!
It makes the two of us. I was also impressed and inspired by that jewelry box and was thinking making a bedroom set along those lines.
Once I get done with my work project, I will start designing the set. Will probably seek your help too.
Thanks!

Tony,
A quick question: Is the top and the bottom of the stile the same width or is it tapered more from the bottom than the top?

tool_junkie- the stiles are the same width top and bottom
Aurora- Not sure about the radius, I just used a strip of hard board between 3 points to determine the arc
Thanks for the comments

Looking good man. Hey – I see you haven’t been on here for a while, but my phone took a dump and I lost your contact info. Give me a shout when you can…
