When i made this i had no idea what i would do with it.
I get dry oak mill ends for free and I seek out interesteing and useful trash to re-purpose.
I cut the arm rests from an old 70’s recliner and simply screwed them to the bottom of this mill end.
The contrast between rough oak and the chromed arm rests turned out to be quite pleasing. When I brought it home to show my wife, she ooohed and aaahed over it and decided to have it as a bedside table instead of the wood look melamine drawer unit she had bought previously (It’s my fault she bought it cause she gave up waiting for me to make something)

Hmm, look at my ‘lawn’. might have to pop over to the gardening forum to find out what the weed is and how to get rid of it.

Nice re-use of the recliner arm rest. It does look good combined with the oak.
