Your table is fantastic. The wood looks great and catches your eye and holds your attention.

Yay for Siberian Elm! I’m in the last stages of constructing a Nakashima-style coffee table out of a large Siberian Elm cookie—about 49” x 39”, roughly round-ish. I’m curious what finish you chose for the table top? I love the sparkle and reflections when I’ve tested some samples with some glossier finishes, but there’s also something about the less-refined look and feel of simple oil finsh. Can you tell me which direction you went, and/or what products you used?
Great looking table!
