This is an open-shelf style of entertainment center. I took my design cues from the ladder style shelves which both my wife and I like. The shelves are maple and the legs are walnut. The “ebony” plugs are dyed walnut. For the maple, I brushed on a couple coats of blonde shellac, then sprayed a coat of shellac with golden brown dye to give it just a bit of color. The top coat is polyurathane. The legs have only polyurathane. All the pieces are joined together with screws.

I like this too. Been looking for a nice clean simple design ( to replace the bricks and scaffold plank I currently have)

Simple, functional, classic design, whats not to like. Wood choices were good too.
