The table top is a black walnut slab with curly maple “bowties” holding the split. the rear leg is laminated from black walnut and the two front legs are made from baseball bat blanks which were “seconds”.

That is a great looking table. A novel use of the baseball bat blanks and the view from the top really looks great. Fine looking table and a great job. and…..................................I love those butterflies!

Very nice and creative with the legs. I’m building a outdoor table out of walnut and used bow ties as well. Well done.
