I’m currently working on a project that is simply too big for my workshop. So I made some knock down trestles that I could take outside and put the project on when the weather is permitting. Lately that’s been quite often.
They’re made from some 70’s chipboard I got from some old cupboards a friend asked me to dismantle and take away. I tell ya, they don’t make chipboard like that any more ! It’s tough ! There was also blockboard and ply used in the cupboards, all very good quality. A good haul in all.
Fairly basic construction on the trestles. I think the pictures are fairly self explanatory.
They do the job.

Knock-downs are always good space savers. For light-duty support, I’ll bet those work great. It’s nice you’re finding uses for a free haul-away!

I’ll always find a use for free material.
If I put a piece of melamine between the 2, I can sit on it, so now I know it can take at least 80 kg.(i don’t know what that is in pounds)
