These are some box covers I’ve made out of left over project wood. The sides are cherry and the tops are Lacewood with a canarywood lam in the short one. They are easy to bang out and make nice gifts when you need something for a hostess. This cherry is about 5 years old and nicely darkened.

Great idea for left over wood! Looks great!
