Bowls are purple heart, butternut, burl maple (with some really light spalting on the oppostie side but only showed the burl in the pics since I like it more), Box elder, and maple, from left to right. They are the first bowls I’ve ever produced. Though now that I think about it there not in order of there production, can you guess what it would be?? haha. Finish is a few coats Tried and True danish oil (I just love what it does to the wood) then a couple coats varathane and claphams beeswax polish. Any thoughts?

Very nice work.
Depending on what your taste in wood is you may find you can get more wood for free than you can ever turn.
I have pallets of wood that I got off craigslist for free….just search for “free firewood” it includes oak, walnut, and magnolia….and TONS of pine.
Good luck
