My little end table…is it a SHaker style? Alder with resawn Madrone veneer top and turned knob. The knob is some plum wood that I had from a tree that grew in my yard for 30 years and then died. The core was rotten but the edges around the core were a beautiful purple figured color. Only small things will come from it since it was not very big, but the wood is amazing! The madrone is another favorite of mine that grows locally. I had a big highly figured chunk and resawed it to about 1/4”. Dovetail drawers (my first dovetails) and I love the figure on the alder drawerfront. Finished with Danish Oil and hand rubbed with furniture wax.

Nice looking table. Great job on the book match top, and, man, what figure in that top.
