This is my largest bandsaw box to date, made out of spalted Hackberry, it has a total of 7 large drawers, 8 total including the hidden drawer and one pull out tray, the two tall side drawers have hooks for holding neckless thus are neckless drawers, the top drawer has a pull out tray, second from the top is an open drawer, the large center drawer has my traditional hidden drawer in it, the second to the bottom drawer has a divider in it and the bottom drawer has slots for rings, this box measures 12 1/2” H x 10 1/2” W x 3 1/2” D and yes I managed to get this monster done on a 14” :)

Hey Randy that is an awesome Box, beautiful wood. I’ve never seen wood like that before, must have been a little tight on the 14in saw. But all in good fun eh, great name by the way.

Ranger, I got lucky on this wood, once it’s gone it’ll be hard and a long time after another batch if any at all, these logs came from two trees both already rotted and down I cut them viia chain saw, they came out of one of our family cemetery’s.

Greetings from the socialist capital of America – California.
Why do you think they call it the ’left coast’?
I was going along with you pretty good until you said you only had a 14” saw. No way could I do something this big on mine.

WOW!!! Nice work Blackie! I guess you took your 14” to limit! That one huge beautiful ban saw box! The wood grain is really nice! Thanks for sharing!
PS. I was using my 14” today. I’m resawing some Maple and making my wife a new recipie box.

Woodshaver, Pushing that heavy block of wood around was a bit trying, keeping it centered on the blade with the weight it was a bit hard and yes it did max out the saw’s turn radius, I had to play out the cuts before actually turning the saw on so the cuts were strategically placed.
