This is a plaque I made for our 2nd child that went to live in Heaven on March 20, 2011. I imported the picture into Microsoft Word, added the text from the NIV Bible. Used an Epilog Laser machine to cut into baltic birch plywood. Frame is oak, milled to 3/4 with a round profile done with a free hand router. Dado’ed 9/16” along edges to fit in picture. Hand sanded, stained with rag, top coated with satin spray can of minwax clear poly. If there was one thing I’d done different, I would of matched the oak in the frame better. As it was, I had a Christmas deadline and just went with what I had. All in all, came out great.

God bless you little one, I will see you soon. Daddy has some more work to do before he is called home.
