I have been working on this project for quite some time. I finally finished the first one late last night, having had some issues getting the glass to screw onto the cross pieces. There is a second table that is nearing completion, just getting to the finishing stages. Both tables are use maple and purpleheart for the base, maple for the column and walnut for the cross pieces on top. The column is capped on the top using East Indian Rosewood.

The end tables are to match the coffee table that I completed about a year ago. The glass I got from my mother that she had stored in her garage for a long time. The glass is about 1/2” thick. I have enjoyed working with all of these woods, though I am glad that I am out of purpleheart. That has been one of the hardest woods to work with for me.

Thanks for looking.
