my dad made some and i decided i give it a try my first didnt work but thes 2 did. The black one is wallnut and the light brown one is oak.

Nicely done these are a lot of fn to play with and make. I made a few a couple of months ago, my dagher loves them.

Little more detail on how you made them please .
I make some whistles every spring from willow or hazelnut branches and would like to make some of these for the grand kids for a change .
