I hope this qualifies as a wood working project. It’s an electric RC boat that I built for my 8 year old grandson a while ago.
It’s plywood over Styrofoam and fiber glassed. I used a razor knife to cut most of the wood. If you have 5 minutes you can see more of the build on YouTube. http://youtu.be/04dfXlQfOo4
It took me about a month to build this boat. I didn’t have a plan I just went at it with my thoughts on this one.
This project had me doing a lot of different types of tasks as you can see. The video will show a lot more.
My Grandson was shocked when I gave it to him.

Great build – I would classify it as a woodworking project, it’s got wood and a grandchild – that is all you need :-))

Hey Kaybee,
It’s a fold down wall table. It’s on a piano hinge and can be folded up and stored against the wall. I built that in the garage of the last house that we owned before we moved to Florida.
Thanks for all the nice comments everyone!
