Was asked to make a recipe card box for 4×6 recipe cards that was to then be given as a gift. Had some curly wild black cherry remaining from a previous project. Stained with OCS Michaels 113 then a couple coats of natural Danish oil. If I recall correctly it’s 11 1/2 wide, 4 1/2 tall and 4 deep. The person who ultimately received the box (I had no idea who they were) actually sent me a thank you note. First time I ever received a thank you note for a gift I didn’t give! Wild!

Nice job, wood is beautiful….

On a side note, I love your profile pic of the Alaskan Malamute. I had one growing up and my gradnpa had one from Alaska that was 1/2 wolfe. I have a Chlt Lab now, I love her do death! Its just to warm here in Southern California to have a malamute, it would not be fair!
