I made this arts and crafts bench from a plan found in Wood magazine. I made this for my mother in law, and she created the cushion that fits on the seat. The bench is red oak stained with an oak oil stan and sealed with polyeurethane. I put rubber feet on the legs so the bench would be sturdy on the hardwood floor. Thanks to lumberjocks, I found solutions to problems that reared their heads along the way.

It looks very nice, it also has many uses. Step for getting those hidden cookies down. Dog bench, cat rest. The list could go on. Very nice of you to share this.
