This stock was sent to me from the LOML father(Robert). I needed somthing to practice so this I thought would be perfect.
WRONG!
Daisy used some really funky wood on this stock. I suppose they really dont need to be made of high quality material. It was a challenge to say the least.
Rob is a huge fan of the Gator football team so I found a design that is used for a belt buckle.
It was a fun design to carve.
I hope he is pleased with it.

Absolutely right on the stock quality of air rifles. The loose grain makes it difficult to get the detail you get in hard woods. I think it looks great, and still served its purpose of practice and learning.
