I got a mini-lathe for Christmas and some gift cards. Got a pen making kit from rockler and an additional pencil kit.

First project was a little red oak baseball bat, maybe 4.5” total length. Just because I could and to see how the chisels worked out. never sanded or finished it.

Then i made the 3 pens and a pencil. CA glue and micromesh

Last one was a special request, my brother asked if I could make a beefier handle for a mach 3 razor. I really didn’t want to pay $20 for a kit when I had an extra razor handle and plenty of wood. ground down the razor to fit in a 3/8” hole then turned a basic handle. finished with CA on the handle, same as pen procedure then I epoxied the remnants of the razor handle into the walnut.
