The comforter set that we bought for my daughter’s crib has this particularly cute animal theme, and we needed a shelf over our changing table, so I decided to get a little crafty and build a shelf on the same theme.
I got out the scroll saw and build quasi 3D representations of the Elephant and Zebra characters, mounted them to a wooden plaque using tenons, and bought a bunch of paint samples from Lowes. I’m very happy with the results. It looks like we bought them from Toys-R-Us. :-)

This brings back 20 year old memories out of the dusty archives. Except I was painting trains instead of cute animals. You’ve done a great job. Thanks for the flashbacks…..
