My nephew Adam asked if I would make a set of pens for the groomsmen in his wedding. How could I refuse?! I like making the “cigar pen” because when you hold it, you are holding more than a pen… you are holding a “writing instrument” ;-) . Adam also is a fan of the cigar pen, so I put together these 5 using assorted woods. I purchased the cases at a local retailer (am I allowed to say Woodcraft? if not, please delete this section…) and had them laser engraved. One of the pens (can’t remember which one) was slightly fatter than the rest and I had to do some creative “stuffing” to get it to fit in the case. I also used this opportunity to experiment with a CA/BLO finish on a couple of the pens. Anyway.. thanks for looking!

Very nice.
I still remember receiving a pen and pencil set for standing up in my Sisters wedding almost 20 years ago. They make a great gift. They are even better if they are homemade like yours. I too am a huge fan of the cigar pen.

Sam, these pens are beautiful.
Puts the gifts to my groomsmen to shame, hardcore.
