Variation on a theme

I made this bandsaw Box for my wife. After she saw the first one I made, she wanted one like it. I wanted to go a bit fancier on this one, so I laminated some Cherry, purple heart, and something called jelutong which gave me fits when I was sanding it, because it’s so much softer than the purple heart next to it.
I really like the mix of wood on this one, and my wife loved it! I still have some practice to do, but these BS boxes are just a blast to make, and they go fast, which means I can keep making them and not get bored.
