I have a very good designer client who wanted some coffee tables for a lake house . She showed me a couple of pics and we decided to use 1/4 metal bent around with a powder coated finish . I then used 1 3/4 ’’ white oak for the tops distressed with dark stain then washed with dark walnut dye stain and finished with conversion varnish for this conteporary top. Everyone was thrilled and invited me for a cruise on their boat. Love the delivery part of my job it’s like a concert coming to a creshendo for the finale because it’s all about making people feel good and then I feel good about what I am doing. All this and Heaven too.

Great looking tables and most deserving of the reward cruise!

Beautiful, Dan! I think the cruise was well deserved!

There is an elegance to the stated simplicity of design in these tables, which works quite well in sharing the harmony of the rooms additional interior accoutrements. You certainly have a knack for good design in the use of mixed media.
