A pair of boxes I made for my close friends when they got married. The compound mitres were very challenging as were the tops. All solid wood from one board of cherry and one of maple. The pulls are ebony and the hinges are solid brass. Finish with two coats of poly-linseed oil and beeswax.
The boxes are meant to nest together in various configurations an they are complementary in their angles.

Great looking boxes Blender. Those joints are very hard to do cleanly but it looks like you pulled it off…great job. I love the fact they nest together.
