Display case that I built for my mother this year as a Christmas present. She asked me to make her one… but she doesnt think I have gotten around to it yet, so it still be a suprise. It stands 15” tall and is 12” square. The mirrored back opens to get nto the case. Made from one board of walnut, spray semi-gloss lacquer, then steel wool and a coat of wax. The glass is recyled from some broken windows and used recycled mirror for the back.
Merry Christmas all!

I’m pleased with it… considering I went at it with no plans… just that jumbled mess in my head. LOL

Beautiful gift. The walnut will make anything placed inside look elegant.
