Last year about this time, grand daughter Loghan got a small flatscreen and an articulating arm for mounting near a corner. This year she needs a shelf in the corner for the small DVD player and a shelf below for a few books (or whatever).

All birch plywood, some 3/4” pine screen bead to hide the evidence of plywood, then Zinsser Laquer primer, puttied with Timbermate white, then finally about four rattle can coats with Rustoleum Hammer texture white.

I think she’ll like it. Someday maybe she’ll tell me she likes it. Right now she’s 20 months.

This is the fishy face, by the way…

Nice shelf, David, but ‘fess up. You know you only posted it as an excuse to show off that little cutie. :-)

That hammer paint is the cat’s A** isn’t it?

Thanks for the comments.

I did feel the need to identify the fishy face so that A) it was not mistaken that she already knows to pout her lips for internet pics a la Facebook and B) she does not require corrective palette surgery. ;=)

I admit to being extremely partial to my three grand kids. What miracles they are !

Merry Christmas to all ! Have safe and happy holidays.
