The first four pens like my ornaments are made from wood that was gathered at work. These are for couple other folks at work.
Picture 1. Cherry, Thunder Cloud Plum
Picture 2. Ficus

The Ficus trees were inside one of our buildings at one point and have since been replaced. I took some pieces from the old ones and have made various items out of it. It is an interesting wood to work with.

The fifth pen is out of a piece of Cherry and is for a friend of the family. It is my first fully European Pen. The size certainly allows for more bulk and detailing.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

Some bold designs. Nice looking wood.

Spunwood, The background I have started to use is my dice rolling tray. Noted in my project Geek Paraphernalia
I actually like it so much as a background I have been pushing around making a larger one just for photos.
