Project Information

I decided to make my dad a cutting board for christmas. the one that he has been using has gone well past its prime. I only had the intention of making one endgrain checkerboard cutting board for him. I ended up playing with different patterns and I made two more endgrain cutting boards and a long grain cutting boards.

The wood is rock maple and dark walnut. The boards vary in sizes from 10×12 to 12×12. The endgraina are about 1 1/4" thick.

Any feedback is appreciated.

Thank you
Robert

Nice collection. Gonna make some people really happy. They better not cry or pout.

Apart from the photographs being a little blurry, I find these boards very appealing..

All I have to say is my friendly neighbor has lit a fire under my butt great looking cutting boards. He inspired me to finish the end grain walnut cutting board recently posted on my projects page. I can't wait to see what else he cranks out of the shop!
