Spatula of red gum (Eucalyptus camaldulensis). Tree native to Australia where it is greatly expanded, especially near waterways. The Red gum has the ominous name of “Widow Maker” for his ability to trimming without notice (often half the diameter of the trunk).
Brittle wood tends to crack trabajenla with care and respect.
Finish is mineral oil and beeswax.

Espátula de eucalipto colorado (Eucalyptus camaldulensis). Árbol nativo de Australia donde está ampliamente expandido, en especial cerca de cursos de agua. El eucalipto rojo tiene el ominoso nombre de “Hacedor de viudas”, por su capacidad de desrame sin previo aviso (frecuentemente de la mitad de diámetro del tronco). Madera quebradiza, tiende a rajarse, trabajenla con cuidado y respeto.
Terminada con mix de aceite mineral y cera de abejas.
