This is a small table I made as a baby shower gift for a very nice lady at work. It was made with the idea of holding a potted plant or flowers. I got the idea from a woodworking mag. Its very simple to make, just an 8 inch sq. piece of 4/4 walnut bordered by 3/4 red oak with tapered legs. I finnished it with 3 coats of tung oil then 3 coats of wipe on poly. The finnish took longer than the build. She loved it. This hobby has given me so many great moments.
