I built these two tables from Oak to fill the narrow gap at the ends of my couch. They are a simple design and I made all of the cuts using a Miter Saw and a Table Saw. I sanded the Oak with 220 grit on my random orbital and then applied Special Walnut Minwax Stain. I finished off by applying satin Wipe-on Poly (three coats) and rubbing with extra fine steel wool between coats. I wanted something that would be somewhat durable and not show a lot of water rings.
Please comment with any tips, suggestions or comments you might have for my future projects. Thank You

It seems like regular coffee tables are never where you need them to set your drink down. These will be in the perfect spot!
