This is my first go at this type of box
I made this just to practise before i do a proper one with some nice wood, so it’s not very good and i didn’t spend a whole lot of time on it.
Let me know what you guys think of the dimensions etc.
Sorry for the crappy pictures

I like it. Really like the way the top looks and sets on the box.
This is a good prototype for your next one.

Nice design, looks a bit of asian & native influence, if I’m not wrong.
Great work!

My, my. I like it. The lid shape and lift design is sleek and clean. The reveal line between the lid and base provides a nice shadow line. Proportions feel good. Design would also look good with a slightly taller base. ...but nice as is. Very nice.

I like it. You might consider not rounding over the top edge of the box to have a crisper edge between the top and box and the reveal. The design of the lift is very very nice. I look forward to your next version.

I like this design as well…..I’ll go the other direction though. I think it might look sharp if the curvature of the lid blends into the curvature of the box…...maybe a tiny-tiny chamfer at the top of the box to give a reveal line…...just my 2 cents though…...nice work though!

I like it too, although I dont do much boxes. I particularlly like the handle because it dose not take room in case you to pack and send it overseas. BorgerBean mentioned the hight, I would say it would all be depend on what you want to put in it. So I dont see it as problem. Well done, Broda.

I like that look ,somewhat rustic and nice contrast of the woods .
Just keep playing with the proportions and details .
As it is it is very nice and you are on to a great style .
Thanks
