I call this piece “8”. There are a few reasons for that. First as most of you can see there are 8 legs to this little table. Second, because it took alittle less than 8 hours to design, build and finish this poject.
The table is made out of Jarrah. I love Jarrah it is one of the nicest woods both to work and it’s colour is wonderful.
The table is put together with some very simple joinery, from half laps to dados. The legs are pinned together with little Huon Pine floating tenons. The top has a 1.6mm inlay of Huon Pine, that comes together in the middle of the table to meet with a 4 way mitre joint.
This is one of the funniest thing that I have built. I love seeing a project done.

Very nice Kaleo.
I like the way you carried on the theme with the exposed Huon tenons, the same color as the inlay.

sweeet. I really like this table. The fact you made it in 8 hours sort of makes me mad, but I already knew I worked pretty slow.
Very nice, what’s up next?

Kaleo – what a gorgeous table! Very nice delictate lines. I like the “8” reference! Not sure if I could do that in less than 8 hours . . . I work even slower! Please keep these projects coming.

Kaleo, this is a very nice piece – I always appreciate original design and love your selection of two great Aussie woods. Don’t take any of the wood home – we don’t want it all to disappear. LOL.

that’s a nice looking little table.
I like the design with the 8 slim legs. the inlay adds a nice touch as well.
