I sandwiched cherry segments between two solid 8/4 maple, then added a cherry and maple top to come up with this (for lack of a better word) hybrid vessel. It’s 5 1/4in high by 8 in. lacquer finish. It along with
hundreds of other projects will be on display and for sale at the 53 annual Albemarle Craftsmans Guild Fair the 28, 29, 30th of Oct. here in Elizabeth City, NC. If you’re in the area, I invite you to stop by.
