I thought I would post some pics of a couple tables that I built last month. These tables are made of tiger maple and dyed with an orange/brown mixture. I used a dark brown dye to accent the figure and then sealed down the dye with seal-a-cell and then shellac. The tops were buffed out to a nice mirror finish and I hope you can see that in one of the pictures. Not usually what I like to go for but that is what was requested. These tables are for an art gallery that I participate in. I think they were about 25” tall and around 16” to 18” wide. The lighting wasn’t the best on these pics but hopefully you can see them.

Very nice work. The grain is awesome and the sense of proportion is right there. Tiger maple is hard to beat for its beauty. I commend you for the fine finish too. Wow.
