first time making something like this. oak with walnut pins. drawbore joinery. hand cut mortises and chamfers. all from scrap from the cabinet shop around the corner. i read peter follansbee’s blog enough that i had to try something similar. this was made to work out the kinks, but planning on making a pair for my parents.

This is one nice stool, Josh. Well done with great details like nicely carved lamb thongs and chamfers. I love the wild grain on the center. Congrats!
