I found this mirror in a second hand store and paid 6 dollars for it. After removing the old frame the 1/4” mirror had a date stamp of PPG 13 SEPT 1942. I made a new frame using QSWO and used through mortise and tenon joinery. It’s finished with Trans-tint antique maple and General Finish Arm-R-Seal. For those that don’t know PPG stands for Pittsburg Plate and Glass.

That’s a really nice frame.
It’s always good to save a few bucks, reuse a good anything, and bring it all together with some great woodwork.
