Here is the finished project that started with a pair of doors…
The frames are Narra… [New Guinea Rosewood] with Queensland Maple for the panels and carcass… the wooden hinges are made from Tasmanian Blackwood.
The unit will be mounted to the wall using a french cleat…

Nice.
The (book matched?) panels look like eyes and the handles like a nose. Ha.
Good job Sir,
Steve

Larry, you started this a while ago, didn’t you?
Good things are worth waiting for though!!
Nice Work on the Hinges (and I like those pulls too)

Larry,
Geat dart board! I have been meaning to build one of these, as I am a self-proclaimed cricket champion. I love the hinges. Were they a pain to make?

I had almost forgotten about this Larry. The “eyes” seem less aggressive and a bit calmer now that the entire thing is assembled.
I also like the hinges!

Really VERY COOL!!
I really like the way you did those hinges… I have to remember that way to mount them! Cool French Cleat TOO!
Won’t it really take a beating by using solid wood… rather than a cork-type softer target wood?

Nice work Larry. Did you use a commercial jig to make the hinges or a shop built one?

You have such amazing wood to work with. Your talents shine through the pieces you create. When you make everything out of wood (hinges, handle) just inspires me to be more creative. Thanks Don

At first glance, I thought you also made the dart board…. Why not it’s Larry in there..
Everything is unique in this project. ... using the back of the door as the scoreboard, the wooden hinges, the french cleat, the framing of door, and most especial it is Larry’s idea.. Thanks for posting.
