I built this Train Table for my kid as a 2-year birthday present. I used rough-cut Mahogany and Beech, with only glue and joinery. The table is rabbeted with the legs adding extra reinforcement (from being glued into the corners). The top will pop out and can be replaced. The drawers are dovetailed along the corners and rabbeted on the bottom. As you can probably tell, a lot of clamps got used up to get the drawers together.

Great job! My son would have a ball with this. haha Are the legs solid or laminated and then joined?

wow! seeing this freaked me out. I had to do a “double take” to make sure you weren’t my brother-in-law. He has built a table that looks almost identical (with the dawers and everything) to this one. His son even has the same little train set! very freaky! very nice table though!!
